SEE HOW THE COURSE WORKS
A short welcome from Dr. Aldin Dautovic: what the course covers, how the lessons are set up, and how to get started with your new puppy or newly adopted dog.
New puppy or newly adopted rescue dog? Start here.
The foundation for a well-trained dog, from new puppy or newly adopted dog into real obedience.
We like to begin with puppies, but not every dog comes to us as a puppy. Most of the dogs we work with in Seattle are rescues, and we'd love to help set you up for success. K9 Fundamentals is a self-paced online course in reward-based skills, markers, engagement, management, and boundaries, with practical demos from Everyday K9 Solutions. Obedience-intensive demos are being filmed now and will be added as they're ready.
Raising the Standard. Deepening the Bond. Giving Dogs the Freedom They Deserve.
Enroll — Founding $249
Founding price for the first 50 members, through October 31st.
Standard price: $299 after the founding window. Optional standard-only plan: 2 payments of $159 ($318 total).

A DOG WHO KNOWS HOW TO LISTEN, AND AN OWNER WHO KNOWS HOW TO TEACH
Good behavior doesn't happen by accident. In this course you learn the same foundations used at Everyday K9 Solutions: manage the environment so bad habits don't get practiced, build engagement so your dog wants to work with you, and use clear markers so your dog knows exactly when it got it right. Every concept is shown with real dogs, so you can see it before you try it.

From in-person and virtual training clients
“We had an amazing experience with Dr Aldin. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. Our puppy made noticeable progress quickly, and we learned so many helpful techniques to continue the training at home.”
“Aldin has been working with Remy since he was 6 months old, and we’ve seen so much growth from 6 to 10 months. … He taught us not only what to do, but why, which helped us build a much stronger connection with Remy.”
“I’ve seen such an incredible transformation in Reese’s behavior, focus, and confidence since we started training. More importantly, our bond has grown stronger because I now understand how to work with her in a way that sets her up for success.”
“The curriculum was balanced, placing an equally strong emphasis on dog psychology and play/fun. Fergie is much more engaged now and understands what I’m asking of her …”
“Training is hard work, no doubt about it, but our dog absolutely LOVES it — and honestly, that makes all the difference. Seeing him engaged and excited during sessions keeps us motivated to stay consistent.”
“Instead of just giving us a list of commands and telling us what to do, he taught us how to actually think like a dog and put ourselves in Bunny’s shoes. He explained the ‘why’ behind every behavior and technique.”
“Prior to training, I could not walk my dog outside due to her pulling too hard on the leash and being nervous around people. After 10 sessions, Tsuki and I are now enjoying our walks outside and sitting at cafe patios 😊.”
“What stood out to us was his ability to break down Banjo’s behavior improvement into progressive achievable steps and taught us practical tools to reinforce the right behaviors ourselves.”
